Our desire is to give help and hope to active foster and adoptive families
As a two-time adoptive family and active foster family we understand, firsthand, the struggle and the hardship parenting a child with a difficult past can be on a family. Taking time away is so needed, but often doesn’t happen due to many reasons - depleting funds, not being able to leave the state with the children in your care, tough transitions, and other reasons.
The Give Hope RV exists to provide foster and adoptive families with a place to get away, go camping and rest FREE of charge. We have four locations, all of which are in Michigan: two locations are in Allegan County and the other two are in Mason County. Families can sign up to stay for a 3-night mid-week or a 2-night weekend during the camping season.

Affiliate Campgrounds!
In an effort to reach and serve more foster and adoptive families Give Hope Ministries is expanding our reach! Area campgrounds have donated stay time so that you can camp at their campground for FREE! If you have access to an RV/Pop-Up/Tent, whether it’s yours or you have access to one through a third party this opportunity if for you!! Just know that we, Give Hope Ministries, are NOT providing a camping unit for your family.
You will need to register here (this registration is separate from the registration for a stay at one of our Give Hope RVs). This will put your name in the lottery to be able to stay at one of our affiliate campgrounds.
Registration does not guarantee you a spot during this season. All registrations must be submitted by March 1, 2024. All spaces this season, as in years past, will be filled by lottery. We will begin to notify families of their acceptance mid-March 2024.
You do NOT select your location at this time. If your family name is drawn, we will try to match your family up with a campground that best fits the answers provided in the registration.

How do we stay at a give hope rv?
Stays at the Give Hope RV are highly sought after. This coming 2024 season, with four locations up and running, we have the opportunity to host nearly 140 families!!
All spaced are filled lottery style.
The camping season goes from mid May to mid October. Applications are accepted from January 15 through March 1 for the 2024 season.
Families will be notified of their acceptance in March.
Please read all requirements listed in the application to be sure this will work for you family.

What’s included in our stay?
Families that stay with us will have all of their needed linens, kitchen utensils, small appliances, a grill and grilling utensils furnished for them. While each location does offer different things there are also outdoor and indoor games, books, sand toys and various water floats. A full list of supplied items will be emailed to you upon your reservation. Our goal is for families to have stress free, minimal packing. We want you to only have to pack food, clothes, toiletries and towels.
